TENNIS & CURRY NIGHTS -  The tennis and curry nights for adults are going to resume monthly (3rd Wednesday of the month) as they have always been very popular.  The next tennis and curry night will be held on Wednesday 21st March. There may be a mini tournament if enough people attend! Starts at 6pm at the Tennis club for two hours of tennis followed by a curry and drink(s) at the Old Spa on Dorchester Road, Radipole at 8pm.The price of a curry and drink is £5.75.  There are a variety of curries available, please sign up on sheet in the clubhouse.

WIMBLEDON TICKETS -The club ballot for tickets to Wimbledon Championships 2012 has taken  place, you will be notified if you have been successful.

Should you also wish to be included in the Public Ballot details can be obtained from http://www.wimbledon.com/championships/tickets/ballot  on how to do this. Closed 31st December 2011 - you can still enjoy the championships if you can get up early and queue daily for ground passes (need to be there before 7am to be in with a chance of these!)

Annual Chilli and Quiz Evening Preston Village Hall  4th February 2012  6.30pm - enjoyed by 65 people, special thanks to Mary the 'cook', Gareth and quizmaster and all the helpers. Congratulations to winning scratch team of Chris Penny, Colin Campbell, Val Sewry, Sue and Dave Tyler who will be enjoying a free night out at The Plaza in Dorchester.

American Tournament 30th December  2011 - thank you to everyone who participated  despite the poor weather forecast, matches were played for around 1 1/2 hours.  Congratulations to John Laver and Sue Fridd who both won 12 games. Hopefully, a similar event will be held in the summer.

Summer Parent & Child Tournament 13th August  2011 - around 20 pairs had a great time at this social event which was blessed with fine weather to enable an enjoyable BBQ also to take place.

Seafront Table Top Stall 24th July 2011 - raised £250.32, thanks to all who donated and helped on the day, the money will be used to buy new furniture for the clubhouse.      

BBQ and Games Lodmoor 9th July 2011 - Over 40 players, family and friends had an enjoyable afternoon with perfect weather and the relocation to around the gym equipment proved a big hit with all ages. Great job to the 'BBQers' and coaches for organising the games.

National Families Week - Fun Day  4th June 2011 - Not too many came along on this day but we understand that many of you were away for half-term.  Those that did had an enjoyable time on court and a lunchtime BBQ. Thanks to the coaches and helpers who gave up their time.

Fun Charity Tennis Tournament  14th May 2011 - 26 pairs took part in the annual tournament competing for fun for the Will Mackaness Perpetual Trophies raising £1115.09 for The Baldies Appeal who are raising money for a Digital Mammograpy Machine at Dorset County Hospital. Congratulations to Kieron and Chris aka 'The Cat in the Hat' and 'The Tasmanian Devil'! who were victorious over Chris and Ryan 'The Gansters' in the final.

Barn Dance 29th April 2011 - saw around 60 people dance the night away with a brilliant live band!
